Whether you have ridden all your life or have never been in the saddle, we have the perfect horse for you. Just like people, horses have distinct personalities and our wranglers use the information you provide to match you with a horse that suits your needs perfectly.
Our rides are designed to meet every rider’s expectations. We split rides up into groups of Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced rides, though friends and family with varied experience can certainly ride together when requested! Our riding adventures include everything from parent led pony rides for young children to scenic 2 - 2.5 hour trail rides as well as more challenging all-day rides and pack trips.
Each group is led by an experienced wrangler who will immerse you in the local lure and provide all the instruction you need to make your horseback riding experience safe and enjoyable.
During the cattle roundup there is the opportunity to become a real cowboy or cowgirl, riding alongside professional cowboys on the Ok Ranch Range. The horses love it and you will find it exhilarating – chasing cows and calves that have their own ideas of when to stop, and where to go.

Cowboy boots or proper riding footwear is required for all riders (heel and smooth sole). All horseback riders 18 and under are required to wear a helmet. A signed waiver of liability is required of all ranch guests.
Big Bar Guest Ranch offers a riding package, which include accommodation, three daily meals and one 2.5 hour horseback ride daily. The riding package can be enhanced for those who want to spend even more time in the saddle by booking additional rides.
