Destiny Destiny is a registered Appaloosa. She has most characteristics of an appy, with a very short mane and tail. Destiny is a good beginner horse. |

Sassy Sassy is our Cob Pony/Arabian cross and a beginner horse. She is small in stature. The white star on her forehead, and white spot on her right side can also distinguish her. |

Red Misty Red Misty is a chestnut. She is one of our older horses, and is great with kids and beginners. She can be distinguished by her white blaze and two white socks on her front legs. |

Sonny Sonny is a chestnut gelding. He is a stout and strong horse, though generally people think he is a pregnant female. Sonny is a good intermediate horse. He also has a ^C brand. |

Henry Henry is a Quarter Horse/Arabian cross. He is a great beginner horse for any age. He is a chestnut gelding, with an M brand on his left shoulder. |

Coyote Coyote is affectionately known as our ‘bobtail nag’ as he has no tail. Coyote is great for all levels of riding. He is a dark bay, with a white stripe down his nose. |

Dolly Dolly is one of our two Norwegian Fjord/ Quarter Horse crosses. Dolly is a good intermediate horse. |

Holly Holly is Dolly’s ½ sister. She can be distinguished from her sister by her light highlights in her mane and tail. Holly is a good beginner/intermediate horse. |

Navajo Navajo (pronounced Nav-a-ho) is our only black and white paint, which makes him very easy to spot. Navajo is a solid intermediate horse. |

Sugar Sugar is a Standard-bred, and came to Big Bar off the passing racetrack. Sugar can be used for any level of rider |

Candy Candy is a red roan/draft cross. She is strong intermediate horse. |

Katie Katie is our registered Quarter Horse Paint. She has a white blaze on her forehead as well as a forelock (bangs) and slightly kinky mane. Katie is used as wrangle horse |

Buster He comes to us from the famous Gang Ranch. He’s a very large chestnut, with two socks (one on the front and one on the back). At this time Buster is used as a wrangle horse. |

April April, a strong Paint mare, is new to our herd this year. She has been trained under saddle as well as harness. She will be used as a wrangler horse this season. |

Maggie Maggie is a Quarter/Morgan-Mix and came together with Luke. She's a dark bay with a tiny flock on her head. |

Luke Luke is our new light bay gelding.He is rivalling to Rootbeer,fighting for the lead of the herd and the hearts of the mares. |

Rootbeer Rootbeer is our oldest horse, estimated at 34 years of age. He has been on the guest ranch since it opened in 1988. Rootbeer is used only for pony rides. |

Black Rose Black Rose is a pretty Arabian mare, and like April, she is new to the herd this year. And like April, she has been trained under saddle as well as harness. She will be used as a wrangler horse this season. |
