Nancy Harris, office administrator
While she grew up on a farm, Nancy spent her adult life in the urban environment of the Vancouver area. When she was deciding what she really wanted to do with her life, she found herself in the Cariboo. The breadth and beauty of the country and the generosity of the people never ceases to amaze her. When she is not welcoming guests, cooking up breakfasts or inventing new deserts, she is thinking up new ways to fit the characters in her first mystery novel into the landscape of the Cariboo.

Lindsay Chipperfield, wrangler
Lindsay comes to Big Bar from B.C.'s Lower Mainland, where she is enrolled in International Studies at Simon Fraser University. Always an animal lover, she has been riding since she was 10, and enjoyed a number of years working with her 4-H projects. She remembers some great family vacations at Big Bar and is delighted to be back. Although she loves to travel, she feels thoroughly at home in the rolling hills of the Cariboo.
